Meet  Krista

Krista is a dedicated landscape designer who strives to create environments that foster a healthy and sustainable connection between people and nature. She recognizes the physical and emotional benefits that nature offers and focuses her designs on increasing native biodiversity by promoting healthy soil ecosystems, utilizing native plants, and practicing organic gardening methods. As a mother of four, Krista understands the importance of nutrition and helps her clients grow nutrient-dense foods in their own soil, regardless of the size of the space. She believes that by harnessing the power of microbes in our soil, we can maximize the nutritional value of our produce. Krista is a lifelong learner who has studied horticulture, greenhouse management, botany, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from Washington State University. She shares her journey and insights on her blog, "Habitat @ Home".Krista is passionate about creating landscapes that connect people to their local ecosystems in a healthy and sustainable way. Nature feeds people physically and emotionally. Krista's design focus is on increasing native biodiversity through creating healthy soil ecosystems, native plant use, and organic gardening practices. Nutrition is very important to this mother of 4. She helps her clients grow nutrient dense foods in their own soils.  Wether the space is small of large the produce can be grown to provide maximun nutrition by utilizing the Microbes that process mineral in our soils. Krista is an avid learner. She has studied Horticulture, greenhouse management, Botany, and holds a Bachelor's  of SCience degree from Washington State UNiversity.
